Ms. D in her natural habitat.
Ms. Nicole D'Augereaux (that's pronounced DOE-SHA-ROW) graduated from Stephen F. Austin State
University with honors in 2005 with a B.S. in Biology, concentration in wildlife. Her favorite courses included herpetology (the study of amphibians and reptiles), ornithology (the study of birds), ecology, conservation biology, mammalogy (the study of mammals), comparative vertebrate anatomy, and randomly, mythology. Her goals in life are (in no particular order): making you laugh, going to graduate school, becoming a rockstar (she plays the drums!), learning to play the violin, and forcing you to admit that science isn't as hard as people think. She has the two coolest dogs in the world, Scout and Charlie, both rescue dogs. More than anything, she wants to help you understand the world around you...because the more we know about the world, the better we can understand ourselves. It's a true story.
